AT BOTTER WE CARE,
At Botter we pledge to work with our world and not against it. Helping ecosystems and industry systems through our art. The climate of the world we live in is rapidly changing and we want to be at the forefront of change, the fashion industry is the Earth’s third most polluting industry alongside fuel & energy, and food production so part of our mission is to rectify this statistic.
Our pieces are made from a variety of innovative and sustainable materials such as ocean plastics, algae and other bio fabrics. This is to ensure our company has the littlest impact of the environment as possible as it is a subject very close to the brands identity and the legacy we want to leave on this industry.
Without nature and the sea’s, we have no art no tangible natural elements to add into our designs. So, protecting the world we live in is not just an ambition of ours it’s the story we want to sell to our audience in the hopes they adopt this mindset as well into their everyday lives.
As a brand deeply rooted in Caribbean heritage we want to speak up proudly with respect for the Caribbean Sea. Preserving these dying ecosystems came as an obligation of respect to our motherland. So, our coral nursery in Curaçao was built in hope of that a better future.
